Passpartout Press Release: Indie Studio’s First Game Sells 50 000 Copies its First Month

July 6th, 2017 – Skövde, Sweden – The launch of Passpartout has been a great success for Flamebait Games with over 50 000 copies sold the first month.

The release of Passpartout: The Starving Artist has gone way beyond our expectations. Especially when you’ve read so much about the oversaturation of game titles. Before launch we dreamed of selling 15 000 copies, which felt like a huge number at the time. Now, with 50 000 copies sold we’re able to keep doing what we love – weird awesome indie games and for that we’re both excited and grateful.” – Mattias Lindblad, CEO of Flamebait Games

Passpartout: The Starving Artist launched on Steam and Gamejolt June 6th. The indie studio’s first game has been a great success with over 50 000 units sold during its first month. For the studio, this means that they’re finally no longer starving artists themselves and they can keep creating more weird games. The team is eager to start prototyping new cool concepts and start production of their next project this autumn. What that project is remains to be revealed.

In Passpartout you make your own artistic journey. Paint and sell your art to rude customers who visit your art gallery. Survive your wine and baguette bills while progressing through the French art scene. Will you leave a legacy or become lost and forgotten?

Passpartout is available on Steam and Gamejolt! Visit the store pages at http://store.steampowered.com/app/582550/ and http://gamejolt.com/games/passpartout/111247.
